Done...Disgusted

After finishing Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser the one word I have to say is…disgusted. I know all of my last blogs said the same thing but I just have no other way of describing how I feel I mean between the descriptions of what is in the food and how it is made I’m purely mortified. And yet I know I will still eat it? What gives? Why would I? After reading that, HOW could I? I honestly don’t have an answer I just know I will. Maybe because I have for so long and just don’t feel like changing my ways? That may be the only explanation. Either way I may never look at it the same but I know I will eat it. Overall an eye-opening book and I think I may just go get the movie. 

Fast Food...Nasty

So I’m almost done with Fast Food Nation and I just want to say…really? We still all eat this stuff even after time and time again we are told of all the horror stories or how bad everything is for you? Just Disgusting if you ask me but I shouldn’t even be speaking because I eat it too. I guess the overall convenience and sometimes-good taste just trumps all. Even though it shouldn’t.  I’m not saying I want the industry to shut down or anything because in all reality its what this country is thriving off of it seems, but this book just brings to the light how gross it really is. I don’t know what my group and me will focus on just yet for our presentation but I’m leaning towards overall health and wellness of the customers.
